Breathe. Listen. Focus.
Swellotic is a breathing guide with music or ambient sound, and a separate volume for each. It's designed to run quietly while you work, on one pair of headphones.
Getting started
- Press play. Breathe in as the scene grows and the word reads In, and out as it settles.
- Use the Breath and Music sliders to balance the two.
- Open Settings to change your pace, breath sound, music and visuals.
- Tap the session button under In and Out to set a timer, or to take turns between a swell for focus and a rest.
Playing with Spotify or Apple Music
In the iPhone app, choose "My music app" under Music, start your music, then press play in Swellotic. Both keep playing when your phone locks. The Breath slider changes only the breaths. Turn on "Lower my music app" to make the breath easier to hear.
On iPhone, the website can't keep the breaths playing while another app plays music, so "My music app" is only in the iPhone app there.
Sound stops when my phone locks
On iPhone, use the iPhone app, which keeps playing in the background. On the website, keep the screen on while you use it. If sound pauses, tap "Sound paused. Tap to resume".
Using the Classical mix offline
Pieces you listen to are kept on your device. To keep the whole set, turn on "Save all for offline" under Music. It's about 200MB.
A note on health
Swellotic is a general wellbeing and focus tool. It isn't a medical device and doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If you feel light-headed, stop and breathe normally.
